Now I have to speculate about how extreme things may get. Both sides try to stir up their political base, and try to keep it stirred up. The speakers will have to keep the fresh raw meat coming, ever fresher - even for the vegans.

In the last panel, I really tried to create recognizable likenesses of politically radical media people from both sides. For good measure, I named a few, mostly left to right, but of course I switched the names of "Doc" Savage and Janeanne Garofalo. I don't know what I was thinking. I was probably just tired. Sorry about that.

And I doubt Garrison Keillor will ever see these cartoons. I still think this was important, and needed doing.
