Now we see that Dr. Luther isn't as evil as he seemed. Mrs. Fields, the elderly, arthritic cow, has had her consciousness transfered to a giant agricultural robot, with which she plans to reap grain for her grandchildren.
It looks as though Cargill put up the money for the robot body, but it's work she wants to do. I admit I haven't thought it out beyond that. It's not always the same people, but for someone to eat, someone has to work.
As I said, she only has to work for them a few years.
