That year, before the weekend this cartoon was due, Thanksgiving dinner at my sister's house really didn't let us alone to relax until we adults had sliced meat off the turkey carcas, and pulled some more of the meat off the bones, with our increasingly greasy fingers. The bones went into a big pot for soup.
Yes, I made a lame, lame pun on tryptophan, one of the main components of turkey meat. I can say "lame" because I am too, literally, with your tax dollars as proof. This web site is my best chance to get off disability.
And I'm trying to say the cats' memories are hazy because they're blocking out the trauma of being chased around by dogs, to work off dinner, in past years.
